How long you’ve been with RJC/Children’s Health?
I started as the CPS Liaison in 2017 and moved into my current position in late 2020.

Where did you grow up?
Nacogdoches, Texas

Where did you go to college/school?
I have a Bachelor of Science (Child Development/Family Studies and Psychology) from Stephen F. Austin and a Master of Social Work from UTA.

Favorite food or restaurant?
Mi Cocina or the Truck Yard

Favorite book:
Really too many to name, but a few recent favorites are The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, The Women by Kristin Hannah, Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers and Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin and Daniel Salmieri.

Favorite movie or tv show?
Parks and Recreation, Abbott Elementary, Real Housewives (I know, I know…)

What is your favorite sports team?
Rangers, Mavs

What song would you sing at karaoke?
I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me) by Whitney Houston or Callin’ Baton Rouge by Garth Brooks

Favorite part of working at RJC:
I’m constantly impressed and inspired by the passion and dedication of our staff and providers. It really makes my job easy to be able to tell others about how genuinely great our team is. They really care, and it shows in everything they do. I’m honored to be a part of supporting their work!

Favorite activities outside of work:
Exploring outside with my family, going to Costco or Target, lots of cross stitching/embroidery, reading, cooking, music and Bluey.
